2007/Career Statistics & Game Log

Bio: came to the Red Sox in 2003 and has been a big piece to our bullpen ever since. 2007 looks to be possibly his last season, though his set up work will never be forgotten. His best season was 2005, where by the end of the year he was closing out games and doing a good job of it. He saved the clinching game of the World Series as a Blue Jay in 1992. His performance for the Sox in the 2003 and 2004 postseason were magnificent.
Projected 2007 Statistics: 4.05, 70, 25, 45
Fantasy Outlook: there are better set up men then Mike Timlin to be taken, but if they are all gone and you feel the need for a set up guy, I'd probably go with Timlin over Donnelly from the Sox. If you're in my fantasy league where holds are a stat category, Timlin will get his fair share of those. If Papelbon goes down with an injury, then Timlin will probably step in once again, so he could get you some saves. He tends to find a way to get 5-10 saves a season.
